Game Pass has crossed 25 million subscribers

Game Pass currently has more than 25 million active subscribers, Microsoft told us today. This includes subscribers to the Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass and is 7 million more than at this time in 2021.

Although the growth of Microsoft's subscriber service seemed to slow down, and some even talked about a potential drop in subscribers, Game Pass managed to attract a lot of new users during the holiday season. This was certainly helped by promotions in which the Game Pass could be purchased for one dollar for three months. But it was primarily games like Forza Horizon 5, Halo Infinite, and Age of Empires 4 that contributed.

The future of the Game Pass is probably not in question after it was announced that Microsoft will take over the publishing house Activision Blizzard. Series such as Diablo, Overwatch, Crash Bandicoot, Spyro, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater, Call of Duty, and many others will appear on the Game Pass.
