Watch Dogs Legion will no longer receive fixes or new content
The update of version 5.6 for Watch Dogs Legion is also the last one that this game will get. Ubisoft said that there will be no more repairs, optimization, or additional content for the game, which is one year and three months old.
In the online game mode, the fifth season called Stripes is current, after which the previous seasons and their contents/awards will be repeated cyclically.
Ubisoft games typically have quite long-term support, but that’s true for those that are popular. By comparison, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla came out in the same period as the Watch Dogs Legion but will receive new content in 2022 as well.
Ubisoft has never shared sales data for the Watch Dogs Legion, it is only said that the Legion had the most successful launch in the history of the Watch Dogs series. But that didn’t seem to be enough to get the game to support a more successful AC: Valhalla.
