MotoGP 22 has been announced, returning split-screen racing mode
MotoGP 22 is coming to PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms from April 21 this year. As usual, the game brings the current season of 2022, but for nostalgic lovers of the history of motorcycling will allow a return to the season of 2009, which was considered one of the most exciting in this sport.
The news of this year's edition of MotoGP is a more intuitive tutorial/training with MotoGP Academy that will teach us the basics of racing in MotoGP, Moto2, and Moto3 categories. An adaptive weight system is also being introduced with suggestions on what to do to make driving more successful.
In the simulation segment, manual adjustment of the mechanism for RHD or Ride Height Device is introduced. Slipstream will from now on also affect the temperature of tires and brakes.
One of the more significant innovations will be the introduction of local multiplayer in split-screen performance for the first time in the MotoGP series. Two players will be able to play in local multiplayer.
As far as network multiplayer is concerned, cross-play support will be introduced for different generations of consoles, so PS4 and PS5 players will be able to play together, and the same goes for players on Xbox One and Xbox Series consoles.
