The TV series and the third Sonic movie are coming

Fast hedgehog Sonic is experiencing a new youth after receiving a very successful film adaptation in 2020. This film will get its sequel in less than two months (April 8), and Paramount Pictures is so convinced that it will achieve a good result that they have confirmed that they are already working on a third film.

In any case - it's not that they lack material Sonic has been present in the world of games for three decades and is still relevant. At the end of the year, a new game arrives - Sonic: Frontiers.

So, two new movies and one new game… But that's not all! We will also get a television series - though not about Sonic but about Knuckles, whose voice is lent by Idris Elba in the upcoming film. The series will be like a feature film, while Knuckles will be animated. It will premiere sometime during 2023 on the Paramount + streaming platform, which is currently only available in the United States.
