13 old games about Ninja Turtles are back in the TMNT: Cowabunga collection
We should get a new game with ninja turtles (Shredder's Revenge) soon, but it will not be the only TMNT game in 2022. Konami has announced Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection for PC and all current consoles, and it is a collection of a total of 13 old, two-dimensional games including hits like Turtles in Time, The Manhattan Project, and Tournament Fighters.
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Arcade)
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time (Arcade)
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (NES)
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Arcade Game (NES)
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: The Manhattan Project (NES)
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters (NES)
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles in Time (Super Nintendo)
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters (Super Nintendo)
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Hyperstone Heist (Sega Genesis)
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters (Sega Genesis)
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Fall of The Foot Clan (Game Boy)
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: Back From The Sewers (Game Boy)
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: Radical Rescue (Game Boy)
All games will be graphically intact, i.e. don’t expect a remaster in a visual sense. But some little things have been added to make the games more enjoyable to play. Some games in the Cowabunga collection will thus support online multiplayer, and in all of them, the position will be able to be recorded at any time. There will also be an option to change controls, the ability to “rewind” the action, as well as a digital guide to help players on harder sections.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection will be available later in 2022 in physical and digital editions. It will cost $ 33.99.
