Diablo 4 Got New Gameplay Shots and a Display of Dark Environments
Diablo 4, unlike its predecessor, will be a dark game - it was clear right from the first announcement. However, Blizzard reveals that the game will not only be adorned with a darker tone in the worldview. Their goal is to make the world of Sanctuary in the quartet not look like a fantasy world but like a realistic medieval environment.
To this end, they pay great attention to the materials and surfaces in play, especially in the context of meteorological conditions and lighting. For example, they state that during the rainy season we will see puddles formed on the ground and roofs, the ground will look muddy and soft, and this atmosphere will be in total contrast to that in the fire-heated inn.
Several recordings have been released that demonstrate the diverse
environments of the game, with equally serious background music. Several new
ways of moving around the environment are also shown, such as crossing the
abyss with a rope.
Diablo 4 is still in development, and as things
stand now, we don’t expect it in 2022.
