Overwatch 2 beta test date

Blizzard has announced that the first beta testing of Overwatch 2 will start on April 26 this year. This closed test will only be available on the PC / Windows platform, and applications are accepted on the game's official website. Participation in the beta will be limited to those who own the first PC Overwatch.

It will be the first of several planned rounds of testing, which will later be available on consoles as well.

Although Overwatch 2 will have a singleplayer campaign and co-op content, this testing will focus exclusively on the PvP component of the game. Players will be able to settle in five-on-five matches, they will meet a new hero - Sojourn, they will play on maps from Overwatch 1, but also on four new maps. The new Push mode and ping system will be demonstrated.
