The Release Date of a Plague Tale: Requiem Is Known
In 2019, we had the opportunity to meet medieval and plague-ravaged France in the title A Plague Tale: Innocence. The success of that game resulted in a sequel whose story directly builds on the first part. Although we knew the game was coming in 2022, the exact date was unknown until recently. Still, it seems that information has been leaked on the Microsoft Store website that reveals how Requiem can be expected on June 17, 2022.
In Requiem, we continue to follow the adventures of Hugo and Amicie who are desperately trying to escape the ubiquitous and ruthless plague. Along with the plague, Amicia will once again have to protect her younger brother Hugo from the consequences of the curse he carries, and he will also encounter the inevitable hordes of hungry and infected rats. In the sequel, just like in the unit, you will have to make difficult decisions to ensure that you have the best chance of surviving in a dark world that forgives nothing.
And Plage Tale: Innocence garnered very good ratings from reviewers and
audiences. An audiovisual presentation, a tense story, and a terrifying rat
are the elements that set this stealth adventure apart from similar
titles that emerged at the time. Unfortunately, most of the criticism
concerned the average and uninspiring gameplay. But if Requiem manages to
build on the flaws of its predecessor, it is easily possible that we will get
one of the best titles produced in 2022.
