Return to Rapture is slowly turning into BioShock VR

Last year, Return to Rapture was launched on Steam - a mode that turns the Half-Life: Alyx VR game into BioShock VR. More specifically, it turns the game into a mix of Half-Life and BioShock, bringing about two and a half hours of gameplay through a total of eight levels. For a modder nicknamed Wim.Buytaert.1988 was just a warm-up as he has now launched another piece of fashion, another chapter that brings 24 levels and 15 hours of gameplay.

Unlike the previous chapter, this gameplay is even closer to that of BioShock games. Such well-known enemies (Splicers) appear, and the player can use advanced powers by consuming the so-called plasmid. Big Daddy is also present if the description is to be believed.

The modification is completely free, and you can download it directly on Steam. Of course, you’ll need a VR device to experience it, as will Half-Life: Alyx itself.
