The Resident Evil series got its premiere date on Netflix
Last year’s film reboot of Resident Evil didn’t make a name for itself, so
hopes are now focused on the feature series of Netflix production. It has just
been revealed that the series will become available on July 14 this year, and
the first materials have been released that includes the title and atypical
background color for the cult Japanese horror series.
We already
know that Netflix's Resident Evil series will not follow events and characters
from the games themselves. Instead, we will get to know New Raccoon City from
the perspective of Wesker’s daughters Jade and Billie. Don't expect Albert
Wesker as you know him - he will be played by African-American actor Lance
Reddick in this issue.
The series will have a total of eight
episodes lasting one hour, and all episodes will be available immediately from
July 14.
