The Settlers postponed for the third time
The return of The Settlers series, which was supposed to come after a 12-year hiatus, has been postponed again. This is the third time that Ubisoft has postponed the launch of the game and the second time that it has been postponed until further notice. The reason for the delay is that the players reacted negatively to the game itself during the closed beta test. Or as they say from Ubisoft:
"As we went through the feedback we received from the players, it became clear to our team that the quality of the game was not yet in line with the vision we had."
The game was supposed to come on March 17 on PC, and now it will come "later" - the new date is not yet known. Judging by the comments on the official blog, fans welcome the delay and hope for a better game.
Ubisoft games have been doing this very often lately. Apart from The Settlers,
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake, as well as Ghost Recon Frontline,
were previously postponed due to the negative reaction of the audience. And
none of those games even had NFT integration.
