The Next Avatar Movie Got Its Name, They Call It the Beginning of a New Saga

After a full 12 years, we should welcome a new film from the Avatar series, and now it has been revealed that it will be called Avatar: The Way of Water. If there is no delay, the premiere will take place on December 14, 2022. The first trailer was shown at the CinemaCon convention, but it is not yet available online at this time. It will be shown next week at the premiere of the second Disney film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and then it will probably appear on the Internet as well.

Film producer Jon Landau said Avatar: The Way of Water will be the beginning of a new saga of a total of four films. Each of them will be independent, and together they will form a larger whole.

“At the center of all four sequels will be the Sully family. Each story will be separate and will come to its conclusion. The films will have a satisfying ending and be viewed as a whole, the journey through all four films will form one larger, epic saga. ” Said, Landau.

The new Avatar movies have been made again for 3D display, and a high frame rate is mentioned, so we may have a version in more than 24 fps. As for the first Avatar, it will get a new version with remastered sound on September 23rd.

It is worth reminding that a new Avatar game from the creators of The Division is also planned for 2022. Last year, it was announced that Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is working exclusively for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series consoles on the new generation of SnowDrop engines.
