For the King 2 has been announced, a colorful game that Dungeons & Dragons fans will enjoy
For the King was free on the Epic Games Store last winter, so it became a bit
popular among gamers - enough to get a sequel. For The King 2 should
enhance the mechanics of its predecessor, combining strategy and
roguelike elements to create a new fantasy experience.
Although
the king is dead, the kingdom still needs a hero, and this role is taken over
by four randomly generated characters with special skills. We will thus oppose
goblins, trolls, and other magical creatures in the fight for moves, which
will not be predictable because it
is determined by the roll of the dice. We will explore maps with
hexagonal fields, full of different adventures, a huge combination of playful
characters, and possible rewards that should ensure diversity in gameplay.
For
King 2 it will be possible to play with friends, so everyone controls
one character, and it's up to you to decide if you want to play as a group or
if everyone will go to their end of the world.
For the King 2 has
been announced for PC, and should arrive on Steam
during 2023.
