Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Is Also Coming to Old Consoles
Yesterday, the release date for the upcoming new game of the old Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II (October 28, 2022) and the cover of the game were revealed. What we didn't get is a concrete presentation of the gameplay, as well as information on how many versions of the game there will be, and some other juicy details.
While we still don't have anything specific about the gameplay, we can say that some juicy details related to the game versions have been leaked. So according to a Twitter whistleblower named CharlieIntel, we can expect three versions of the game: Standard Edition, Cross Gen Bundle, and Vault Edition. It is to be assumed that the first two versions will be the one with the standard game and the upgrade for the next-gen console, and this third version should contain the following:
- Battle Pass and 50 Tier skips
- Red Team 141 Operator pack that includes operatives: Ghost, Soap, Price, Farah
- 10 hours of double XP and the same amount of double XP on weapons
- Ghost legacy pack that includes 12 skins for operatives and 10 blueprints for weapons

Open Beta first on PlayStation confirmed
Perhaps the most interesting part comes at the end, and it is the open beta
that will first appear on the PlayStation. However, this is not a
surprise, considering that Sony has had an agreement with Activision for many
years, and we have seen this practice in the last few for 8. 6.
