The Creators of Dying Light 2 Have Unveiled Their Next Project - A Fantasy Rpg in the Open World
The Techland team has only recently completed Dying Light 2 and plans to upgrade that game over the next few years. However, in parallel, they will develop a completely new project - a next-gen RPG with a fantastic theme. The game does not have a name yet and is still in the conceptual phase. The first picture of it shows a ruined temple surrounded by waterfalls and jungle.
Techland says it will be an action RPG in the open world, and they have stepped up with several veterans for the venture. For the story, they hired two former CD Project RED employees who worked on The Witcher 2 and 3 games, and the main designer of the open world will be a guy who worked on the worlds of The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077. In addition, they hired more four employees who worked on the games Horizon Zero Dawn, Mad Max, and Outriders.
And that is all that is known so far about this future project.
We can only conclude that now half of Poland is doing fantasy RPGs! In addition to this game in development is the new The Witcher (4), the dark fantasy title Gord by former producer Witcher, as well as another dark fantasy RPG by former director Witcher 3. In other words, half of the CD Project RED became "former" after Witcher 3.
