The 23-year-old PAC-MAN WORLD will receive a Re-PAC version

It’s been 23 years since we first played Yellow Eater in 3D, and now the PAC-MAN WORLD will get a remastered version with the addition of Re-PAC in the title, Bandai Namco reports. So we will once again save our family which is sympathetically called PAC-FAM from the evil lord of ghosts, TOC-MAN.

Improved graphics and gameplay await us, so Pac-Man and the ghosts have undergone a beautification treatment, and some features have been upgraded. We will also platform through different game modes, and there will be three: Quest mode which is a campaign, Maze mode which contains a collection of the 3D maze and after completing the campaign, the Original mode containing the original PAC-MAN game will be unlocked. A total of six arenas in the campaign await us, and each arena will have more levels and the inevitable boss battles.

All of this will be able to be experienced on current platforms (PC, PlayStation. Xbox, Switch), and the expected release date of the Re-PAC version is August 26, 2022.
