Sony prepares new gaming hardware for PC gamers
PlayStation games are now coming to the PC platform, so it makes sense for Sony to start making gaming peripherals for PC gamers. For the next week, more precisely on June 29, they announced the presentation of new products that have nothing to do with PlayStation but are part of a new brand. And as the famous insider Henderson found out, the brand will reportedly be called INZONE and will include two product categories - headphones with a microphone and monitors.
Both wired and wireless versions of the 360-degree surround sound headphones are in the works, Henderson said. As for the monitor, two models are in preparation: one with 4K resolution and 144Hz frequency, and the other with 1080p resolution and 240 Hz. Both monitors support VRR and have a low latency of 1ms, and Sony is reportedly promoting them as "perfect monitors for PlayStation 5".
However, it seems that the monitors themselves will be promoted to PC gamers, given that some kind of partnership with Valorant, Riot's fast shooter, which is exclusive to the PC platform, is reportedly planned. Sony's INZONE monitors and headphones could thus become the official periphery of Valorant, but for the truth of these claims, we will have to wait until Wednesday, when Sony will formally announce new products.
