The impressive next-gen title Forspoken has been delayed once again
Forspoken is a big game for Square Enix, but also gamers looking for big AAA games. It's an expensive next-gen title for PC and PS5, it's an 18+ game, but it's also a game that's already been delayed once.
Namely, we were supposed to play Forspoken in the 5th month of this year, but it's a big game for Square Enix, and it was not in good enough condition then - so they postponed it.
We were supposed to play it in the fall of this year, and guess what - they postponed it again.
The latest release date, hopefully, the final one, is now set for 01/24/2023. years.
That news came from the official Twitter profile, along with the explanation that the development of the game is over and that the production is in the final stages of polishing. Admittedly, the delay is not the result of the desire to polish the code as much as possible, but a "strategic decision after discussions with key partners".
That sounds like they didn't want to fight the new God of War for the wallets and attention of PS5 players. Be that as it may, we hope that this extra time will serve the developers to fine-tune the game so that in the first month we will be playing the meticulously tailored, visually impressive next-gen title that we hope for.
