Resident Evil Village looks like a totally different game with new characters in Mercenaries mode
Resident Evil Village will receive its expanded Gold edition on
10/28 of this year, and as part of it, the continuation of the story
with the daughter of Ethan Winters, new challenges in the Mercenaries mode,
and the possibility of playing from the third person will arrive. Capcom has
now revealed a bit more details about Mercenaries: Additional Orders, i.e. the
additional characters we will be able to play with.
As previously
announced, it will be
Chris Redfield, Alcina Dimitrescu, and Karl Heisenberg. Chris will be a
real force in Mercenaries mode and will be able to use aerial attacks. He will
have an Onslaught meter that will charge as he kills opponents, and then he
can activate a mode where he moves faster, and his attacks are more
powerful.
Heisenberg's main weapon will be his hammer, and he will
also have the power of a magnetic field to draw enemies closer to him. He'll
also be able to summon a mechanical sidekick, Soldat Jet, who has killer
attacks but self-destructs as soon as he reaches the first wall.
Lady
Dimitrescu fills the Thrill meter with her attacks, after which she unlocks
additional attacks with increased speed and damage. He can call on his
daughter Cassandra for help to thin out the enemy gang.
In addition
to new characters, the Mercenaries mode will also bring two new locations –
Bloody Village and Bloody River. It can be seen from the attached that he will
not spare the enemies and will throw all the power of different creatures in
front of the player at the same time.
